Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused blackouts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Simultaneously, a young boy was killed in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, based on information from regional authorities.

Russian forces has intensified attacks on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has demanded "substantial measures" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.

"What is required is not superficial actions but firm measures - from the America, the EU and the Group of Seven - in supplying air defence systems and implementing penalties," mentioned in a online statement.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty rockets struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were laboring to restore power.

A series of attacks hit power facilities and civilian homes in the capital.

Several of the people wounded in the assaults on the capital have been taken to hospital, per statements from municipal representatives.
